How we keep this catalogue current

What gets re-read, how often, and what happens to a piece that sells out.

Prices

Every price on this site comes out of our own product data and is rewritten when it moves. The catalogue was last updated on October 3, 2026, and at that update it held 9 designs in stock across 44 stone, finish and millimetre combinations. Where a figure here and the figure at the till disagree, the till is the one that counts.

A piece we cannot currently buy does not appear at all. It is not hidden behind a “currently unavailable” label: it comes off the site at the next build and comes back by itself when it returns to stock, because the catalogue behind these pages keeps asking about it either way.

Millimetres, lengths, metals and stones

These come from the same product data and are rebuilt from it on every pass, so nobody types a millimetre figure into a paragraph by hand. A size on a card is the width across the face of that piece at our last update, and a chain length is the chain itself with its extender named separately. A piece whose data carries no weight or no length prints neither: the line is dropped rather than filled with a plausible number.

Pictures

Every photograph on this site shows the colourway being sold. A frame with a size chart, an award or a claim printed into it is cropped to the photograph or left out, and a picture that argues with what is written beside it is pulled instead of captioned around.

Claims about metal, skin and stones

Anything on this site that touches what a metal is called, how skin reacts to one, or which stone belongs to a month is written under a published source rather than over one. The register below is the whole of it, and every entry was opened and read on September 5, 2026 before a link was put on it.

Corrections

If a millimetre size or a length on this site argues with the piece in your hands, write to hallmark@everu.net with the page and the figure. It gets fixed at the next update, and we say what changed. The rest of what EVERU will and will not print about itself is set out in the editorial standards.

Where this comes from

Buying Platinum, Gold, and Silver Jewelry · US Federal Trade Commission. The words silver, sterling and sterling silver describe products that contain 92.5 per cent pure silver, and a piece marked 925 is 925 parts per thousand pure. Gold filled, gold overlay and rolled gold plate all mean a layer of at least 10 karat gold mechanically applied to a base metal, which is a different thing from electroplate at .175 microns. It is unfair or deceptive to fail to disclose a surface-layer application of rhodium on products marked or described as precious metal. A bright white finish over silver is a layer, it wears, and the page has to say it is there. Read September 5, 2026.
Nickel allergy: How to avoid exposure and reduce symptoms · American Academy of Dermatology. More than 18 per cent of people in North America are allergic to nickel, and earrings and earring backs are among the biggest culprits. Dermatologists advise wearing jewellery that is nickel-free or hypoallergenic, or made of surgical-grade stainless steel, 18-, 22- or 24-karat yellow gold, pure sterling silver or platinum, and seeing a board-certified dermatologist for a proper diagnosis. Traditional Birthstone Chart by Month · American Gem Society. The modern list month by month: garnet, amethyst, aquamarine or bloodstone, diamond, emerald, pearl or alexandrite or moonstone, ruby, peridot or sardonyx or spinel, sapphire, opal or tourmaline, topaz or citrine, and tanzanite or turquoise or zircon for December. Total Lead Content · US Consumer Product Safety Commission. Accessible components of children's products made in or imported into the United States must not contain more than 100 parts per million of total lead, codified at 15 U.S.C. § 1278a. It is the number a lead claim is measured against. It is not a certificate an adult's earring can wear. Read September 5, 2026.
