EVERU Birthstone Chart

The modern list the American jewellery trade keeps runs garnet to blue topaz, and several months carry more than one stone. Ours are cut zirconia in the colour of the month, one cross pendant and one heart bracelet apiece.

  • 12 months
  • 2 designs
  • 24 pieces
  • $12.99–$29.99 at our last update

Read the table one row at a time and the buying decision falls out of it. The middle column is the colour that arrives, the right-hand column is the piece it is set in, and both designs come in every month, so a January order and a September order differ in nothing but the stone. If you are buying for somebody else, the month is usually the only thing you know for certain, and it is enough.

Two rows are worth a second look. June is the month with the longest list in the trade, and ours is alexandrite rather than pearl, which means a colour that shifts between light sources instead of a solid cream. December is blue topaz here, and the paler blue reads very differently from the March aquamarine one row up, though a photograph on a white background flattens the difference between them almost entirely.

June is alexandrite here, which the list shares with pearl and moonstone. December is blue topaz, which the trade has long used alongside the tanzanite, turquoise and zircon the American Gem Society names. Where a month has more than one stone, no piece is wrong.

Every month here is priced on its own. EVERU silver updates the figures on a schedule, and the number at the till is the one that counts.

Questions about the EVERU Birthstone Chart

A month, a colour, a piece

Which EVERU piece can you get in your birthstone month?

Both of them. The cross pendant on a 17.7-inch chain and the heart bracelet on 6.9 inches each come in all twelve months, so the row you are reading offers the same choice as every other row.

The pendant sits at the lower price step and the bracelet at the higher one, which is usually what decides it when the month is fixed and the budget is not.

Why does your December stone differ from the one you find elsewhere?

December carries three stones on the modern list the American Gem Society prints: tanzanite, turquoise and zircon. Ours is blue topaz, which the trade has used for that month for decades, and the chart says so rather than quietly presenting it as the official one.

The same happens in June, where the list gives pearl, alexandrite and moonstone and ours is alexandrite.

Are you getting a mined gemstone at these prices?

No, and no page here suggests otherwise. Every stone in the chart is a cut cubic zirconia in the colour of the month, which is exactly why a birthstone piece here costs twenty-odd dollars rather than several hundred.

What you are buying is the colour, the cut and the setting, in 925 sterling silver.
